Garrick Grym - lead guitar, backing vocals

Garrick is a graduate of Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA, and has performed for many years with bands in the New Orleans, Dallas, and San Francisco areas. As Brother Grym's lead guitarist, Garrick is the major contributor of original music, always conscious of maintaining a unique style and of matching different melodic and lyrical themes with the right groove. He enjoys creating songs that progress as mini-movies, exposing the tragedy and triumph of a cast of flawed yet heroic characters. Garrick draws lyrical inspiration from a broad base of classic literature that ranges from Arthurian legend and Lovecraft’s gothic horror to Orwell’s 1984 and Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles. Garrick acknowledges such diverse musical influences as Pink Floyd, Megadeth, and Rush.
