Zaughn Grym - drums, percussion, keyboards, backing vocals

Zaughn is self taught on the drums and has performed with several different bands with styles ranging from thrash metal to mainstream rock. In addition to his thunderous and outspoken drumming, he sculpts the moods of the shows, designing and building the worlds on stage that bring the band to a weird, visual life. He also creates the various voices, noises and other special effects that creep out from behind the music. Zaughn is also the major contributor of artwork and effects on the band’s Web site, CDs, and promotional video. Both he and Markus are the architects of the band’s recorded sound and have recently produced and engineered Brother Grym’s latest CD. In his previous musical project, the New Orleans based metal band Mad Dog, Zaughn burned up the local stages and provided powerhouse drum tracks on the group's first studio album. Among his many influences are Wally Schnalle, Eric Carr, and Paul Bostaph. He is now looking forward to recording professionally and touring on an international scale.
